ARC Committee

Hello & welcome from ARC Committee

Caz Stokes – ARC Chair

It is a privilege to be part of a friendly committed team, who are keen to promote the club, provide support to members and welcome newcomers from the local community. The role involves co-ordinating club activities, working alongside committee members to achieve club development aims to promote health and fitness, fun muddy runs for all abilities. 2020 is an exciting time as we re-launch the club and engage in maximising development opportunities. ARC is UKA affiliated and adheres to guidelines from England Athletics’ governing body

Caroline Richards - ARC Secretary

I am the Club secretary and responsible for membership matters and making sure the annual subscription renewal process goes smoothly. I send out our weekly newsletter to members and also am the first point of contact for runners who get in touch with us via the website and social media.

Becky Rogers - ARC Treasurer

I was a later starter to running, completing a first Half Marathon aged 61. Then in 2014 I was persuaded by friends to join ARC and loved the support, encouragement and friendship of the other runners. I also discovered trail running and how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of Oxfordshire. I am also a great fan of Banbury parkrun, and can regularly be found alongside a group of club members on a Saturday morning, either running or volunteering.

Chris Varney - ARC Communications Secretary

I was delighted to be asked to join the new ARC team at the beginning of 2019, and to be involved in the relaunch of the club. As Communications Secretary, I am responsible for attending the committee meetings and the AGM and producing agenda and minutes. I also organise meeting locations and make sure everyone is informed. I prepare the official club documents for the website and club records file.
